Microsoft Map point

The Microsoft MapPoint Web Service is an XML-based Web service that allows developers to integrate location-based services, such as maps, driving directions, and proximity searches, into their applications and business processes. The MapPoint Web Service also provides an extensive set of mapping-related content, such as business listings, points-of-interest (POI), and other types of data that can be used within applications. The MapPoint Web Service currently serves more than 15 million transactions daily.

Examine the uses of Map Point and develop an application which makes use of location based services. (I have two GPS receivers plus cables and manuals here in my office for whoever does this project). The official mappoint site is here.
