Cyber Security Serious Games for educational purposes

In a world where people are increasing digitally tethered to powerful, always on mobile devices, new models of engagement and approaches to teaching and learning are required from educators. Serious games (SGs) have proved to have instructional potential.

The Intelligent systems research centre (ISRC) at Ulster University has some of the leading serious games researchers in this area such as Michael Callaghan. This project would be based on building a serious game which teaches some aspect of best practice in cyber security. The outcome could be a mobile app, an online game or a standalone application.
